The Dark Knight does not reveal a lot of plot; however, the main antagonist, and how he thinks, is revealed. A Dolly cam was used to move closer to the Joker while he is standing on the corner of a street. A tracking shot was used to follow the two robber who zip-lined to the roof of the bank. An establishing shot followed by a midshot was used. Long shots were used to show the scale of the scene. The dialogue reveals how the plan is supposed to work, keeps the audience guessing what comes next. This film has no opening credits. The film's budget was 180 million dollars, and made 1 billion dollars. The costumes were vibrant to show that the robbers look like clowns, and the Joker's makeup looked like it was quickly done to provide an aesthetic that he is insane. The film won academy awards for achievement in sound, cinematography, and performance of a supporting actor. It was nominated for best achievement in makeup and visual effects for the Academy Awards

In the opening of Baby Driver, a lot is revealed. The sound editing reveals a great deal about the character, Baby. Many tracking shots, close ups, and midshots in the first 8 minutes. The soundtrack was diegetic, as it was played through Baby's iPod. The director leaves hints of high-pitched noises to simulate the main character's tinnitus. The scene's lighting is very bright, The costume design sets apart all of the characters vividly. The protagonist wears black and white to depict his two ways of life, and the antagonists wear vibrant colors. The jobs featured in the credits are actors, casting agencies, costume designer, choreographer, composer, editors, production designers, directors, producers, and writers. The film had a budget of 34 million dollars and a box office of 229.9 million dollars. Baby Driver won the awards of Most Anticipated Movie of 2017, Best Headliners in SXSW Film Festival, and Best Sound editing for International Online Cinema Awards.

There is little story revealed; however, from the choice of song and the lighting used, it can be inferred that the character shown is tired and a little stressed. An eye-line match is used along with close ups, establishing shot, over-the-shoulder shot, and a few aerial shots. The second shot used a low angle and it can be inferred that the camera was rigged to the car the character was driving. The character wears driving gloves, a driving jacket, and bites frequently on a toothpick. This shows that the character is a driver and he drives for a long time and needs to pass time by chewing on the toothpick. The budget of the film was 16 million dollars, and it made 78.1 million dollars. In the film Reservoir Dogs  by Quentin Tarantino, there is little story revealed in the opening. There is only a group of guys at a diner talking as they finish eating. A dolly camera was mainly used throughout the scene. There were many close-ups as characters were talking and listening. The scene introduced all of the characters and their personalities. It can be inferred by the dialogue of the characters and the costumes, that they are most likely criminals. Their code-names are revealed, so that can narrow down the question of which side of the law these characters are on. The mise-en-scene is obvious to who the characters are but not what the plot of the film is about. There was a master shot including all of the characters walking in the parking lot. The budget was 1.2 million dollars. Props including sunglasses, a book, cigarettes, and dollar bills. I have chose to do the film project because I am very interested in making a film. I am skilled and have experience in making short films and using editing software. I will work with a partner for the project. I would most likely have a more involved part in the post-production than my partner; however, I will frequently ask my partner for advice and input during the editing process. My partner is incredibly more talented than me at hand-drawing, so he will definitely have a big part during the storyboard process. My partner and I will equally be involved in the camera work and setting up a scene. The short film we will be making could be categorized as a thriller, and will be about a character who wins a poker game against some disreputable characters. The protagonist is accused of cheating and has to run away from the other players at the table.

I am interested in all aspects of film production. I have experience creating films, and filming pieces for a school news program. I have skills in editing; for example, I am certified in Adobe Premiere Pro 2015 and Adobe Photoshop 2015. I have taken classes on creative writing which would help for the writing process of the film. The film project might be challenging because I have never written a script for a film. Finding the perfect locations for the film might prove to be challenging. Watching the directors commentary for the HBO series The Newsroom, helped put into perspective how I need to approach and solve any problems during filming. The final challenge I may have to face is being confident in the final product, and hoping that the audience will understand it. Finally, I believe the film project is a perfect fit for me, and I can find out if I can succeed at making films.

The aspects of print journalism that interest me would be photography and designing a brand. I am skilled with a camera, and could definitely provide professional photographs to a magazine. Furthermore, I have experience with design. I have been enrolled in a digital design course for two years, and I could offer that skill to a magazine. On the other hand, I am quite shy, so interviewing people would be a challenge. When watching the film All the President's Men, I was interested in the idea of finding the truth in a story. From what I have seen in film and TV, there is a lot of pressure on writing a story that reflects well on the company that owns a newspaper. I feel as though I would not be proficient in completing articles by deadlines. Despite these challenges, I can offer something valuable to a magazine.
